The quality of our lives determined by the quality of our emotions
Our behaviours and feelings determined by our cognitions (thoughts) ... whether we feel delighted, disappointed or depressed at any particular time really depends on our thoughts and beliefs in relation to our situation and the meaning we apply to it. That relationship also works in reverse... just as our cognitions affect our feelings and behaviours... so too our behaviours can affect the way we think and feel.
So ... our thoughts... our beliefs... our values dictate the way we spend our lives.
